Ace Corner Custom Bike Show



A curation of some of the best custom built motorcycles around.  Organized by custom build veteran, Kevin Dunworth, who has worked with the AMD World Championships, AMA Vintage Shows, The Golden Bolt, and many other rally’s. The Head Judge is motorcycle show veteran and biker legend, Bob Kay.  Both Kevin and Bob have been heavily involved with the American International Motorcycle Show, and the Motorcycle Industry Council.  Competition will be in the following classes:


Anything goes, 2 or 3 wheel drive train/chassis motorcycle configuration as defined by the DMV. The only limitation is the builder’s imagination and resources. This class is for those who want the chance to compete in World Championship caliber events.  This criteria is a pathway to many AMD Affiliate Bike Shows which can send the winner to Intermot to challenge the best builders in the world.
Winner gets $250 and Trophy plus is invited to enter The Ace Cafe Orlando Custom Bike Show in 2020 (including Entrance Fee, Lodging, and $500 travel voucher).  Runner Up gets $100 and Trophy.  3rd Place gets $50 and Trophy.


Trophies awarded for:

People’s Choice will be determined 50% by popular vote and 50% by guest magazine editors.  This will be awarded with an Ace Cafe Swag Bag and Trophy.


REGISTRATION and BIKE ENTRY FEESend an e-mail to Kevin Dunworth at [email protected] with the following information: name, phone, description of motorcycles.  The cost of a custom bike entry is $25 which includes a 3-Day Pass to ACE CORNER and an Ace Cafe Swag Bag.  Kevin will confirm your registration with a return e-mail.  The registration fee can be paid during the Ace Corner Custom Bike Show check-in on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

JUDGING.  We will use a peer judging system with each entrant given a judging sheet and allowed to judge their peers on expertise of design and fit and finish.  As usual, we will have some sponsor awards and prizes so make sure no matter what you have to show, bring it and showcase it.  Builders will do a live walk-around description of their bikes starting at 10:00am on Saturday.  Judging will take place Saturday between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.  There will be peer judging as well as a (to-be-announced) Judges Panel.  Awards will be announced Saturday evening from the Hangar A Stage (time to be announced).

CHECK-IN.  Early check-in is on Friday (2:00pm – 5pm) or Saturday (8:00am-9:30am).  All bikes must be checked in by Saturday morning at 9:30am.  Enter at the Ace Corner Gate (your name will be on a Show Contestants List.  

BIKE SECURITY.  The Ace Corner Custom Bike Show will be at Ace Corner (under the bridge inside Turn 17).  Ace Corner will be closed to the public each evening.  Professional security will be on hand to protect the motorcycles that are left overnight.
