There’s a light at the end of the tunnel for the long-awaited Ace Cafe in downtown Orlando.
It’s been about three years since the London-based eatery first announced plans to bring its motor-themed concept to Orlando. Officials are estimating that it will soft open at the end of April.
This is the first Ace Cafe to open in the United States. The city’s weather and 60 million visitors first attracted the brand to Orlando, but the historic buildings at the downtown location on the corner of Livingston Street and Garland Avenue sold them.
"We pulled into the parking lot here and had an 'Aha'’' moment," said Mark McKee, managing partner and CEO of Ace Cafe North America.
